“How are you, little one? I love you”.

“And I love you, Dad”.

“Do you eat well? Are you in safety? A lot of work?”

“Enough to win”.

“Decent answer”.

“How are you?”

“It’s calm. I have to go. Take care of yourself”.

“I hug you”.

This is the longest conversation with my dad during the escalation of the war. I had no contact with him for the first 7 days. Now he calls every 3-4 days. Sometimes it’s just 30 seconds and a few words: “I love you. Take care of yourself.” He doesn’t ask me for anything. Although he knows for sure that I combine volunteering and territorial defence. He’s there. Far away …
